Sometimes when i see these homes I wonder to myself
"what kind of person lives here, who are they?"
I rarely find out, occasionally news of the property sale is in our paper
and they discuss the owners, usually business owners,
but that's no shock!

I wonder who owns this home, it's fantastic...

The views of Port Melbourne beach are amazing!

The kitchen looks like a modern Port Melb bar!

I guess this is the creative room!

Even the lap pool has views!

And here's the Master Plan!
AND here's what the Agent said!

Live beautifully in this magnificent four story beachfront property. Executed to unprecedented standards, this is a home beyond comparison. Set over four levels with every detail of luxurious living thought through. Tranquil, timeless, impeccable. Bold and intoxicating interiors blend with elegant understatement creating both clean and simple lines and textured luxe. Externally, a timber, copper and zinc facade has been designed to mellow and age with grace against the sea spray and stormy theatre of Port Phillip Bay. Inspired by the lyricism, balance and harmony of the piano, the highly regarded SJB Architects have orchestrated a result that is virtuosic. Positioned on Melbourne's most sought after boulevard, an endless horizon, a Turner sunset, a balloon dappled sunrise; an extraordinary life is here to be lived.

PRICE RANGE: Over $6 Million

  • Property Type: House
  • Bedrooms: 6
  • Bathrooms: 5
  • Land Size: 2274 m² (approx)
Outdoor Features
  • Balcony

I've seen this house on the property for a while now,
obviously not easy to sell, perhaps that is price related!
Anyway, it is a lovely family home by the beach,
so I wanted to share some pics of it.

It appears they normally feed a large group!

I imagine this is a well loved, well used home
by all the belongings around the home...

Lovely feature cabinet.

All the bedrooms are quite romantic...

I really like the simplicity of this twin room.

Always nice to live near a beach...

AND here's what the Agent says!

KENNEBUNKPORT- A SUPERB BEACHFRONT HOME
Named after the historical harbour resort in Maine, U.S.A., "Kennebunkport" is the quintessential holiday home - with absolute frontage to Blue Beach and gorgeous ocean views as far as the eye can see.
A tree-lined driveway leads past a tennis court and two-storey annexe to the blue shuttered main house - strongly reminiscent of Newport, Rhode Island. The understated exterior gives no indication of the surprising space, style and quality of the interior of the house. The master suite comprises a beautiful large bedroom, 2 studies, sitting room, bathroom and private balconies with glimpses of the sea.
The annexe is a two storey building with a self-contained apartment on the ground floor with a private entrance, and another apartment on the upper level, connected to the main house above the port cochere. This apartment has an enormous deck and can be entered separately via an outside staircase or from the upper level of the main house.
The central living room has an open fireplace and French doors leading onto a terrace facing the ocean, and the huge country style kitchen can easily seat twelve for meals.
This amazing house was solidly and expertly built with enormous attention to detail and a high standard of materials. So much more than just a beach house, "Kennebunkport" was created with one thing in mind - to provide a comfortable, relaxing, fun holiday home for the enjoyment of family and friends in one of the most exclusive beachside locations in Western Australia. With this great house and the Indian Ocean just metres away, it is safe to say that this aim has been happily achieved.
