Well, summer is in full swing and because of this my posts are getting far and few between! Lots of decorating projects are put on the back burner for now because I need to enjoy my Little Loves before they don’t want to hang out with me anymore. ;) So please bear with me.
One of the things we are trying to do to keep busy is a weekly craft project. Last week we made the “About Me” books and today we made toilet paper roll flower frames, which I will share with you soon!
For now I wanted to quickly give you a sneak peak at a little wreath I made for my daughter’s bedroom door. I was so fun to make and she loves it! I gathered inspiration from tulle tutus and all of the great burlap crafts out there like, all of Jen’s (tatertots&jello) fun burlap flower projects. You can see her amazing burlap wreath HERE. {If you haven’t, check out her blog. She is so talented and a big sweetie. :) }
I have made a lot of fun stuff with tulle ( tutu’s, hair pieces, curtains, pillows, etc.) and I love creating with it. I had an inquiry for a baby’s nursery wreath and it struck an idea for this wreath. It’s made from grapevine, tulle, handmade burlap rosettes, silk flowers, misc. embellishments and a cute grungy tag. I have already received a few local custom orders for this tulle wreath and I hope to get some in my Etsy shop soon…Let me know if you want one! I will try and get a tutorial done for them as well.
I hope you are enjoying your summer!!
Getting Linky with it. Go see all the other great stuff!
