Museum Building Architecture Knut Hamsun Center

The backbone of the building body is the vital elevator, provided that handicapped and cargo access to every parts of the museum building. At the roof garden the long grass reproduces the conventional Norwegian grass roofs in a diverse method. Weird, shocking and extraordinary experiences in room perception and luminosity will give an exciting surround for the exhibitions.

Museum building architecture design by Steven Holl is located in Norway. This is very unique design for a town museum center. The Architect, is very brilliant can make an artistic design for the museum building. Many people in Norway are surprised about the design of their town museum center. And then, they called that building with the name “Knut Hamsun Center”. This museum town center committed to Hamsun can be found beyond the Arctic Circle close to village of Presteid of Hamaroy and the farmhouse wherever the author developed. The museum will comprise demonstration place, a library and reading room, a coffee bar and a hall. The idea for the museum is “building as a body,” making an arena of imperceptible services. The tarred black wood outdoor coat is typical of the huge wooden stave Norse churches.
