I was browsing the online antique marketplaces and a large number of the pieces that I wanted to know more about were vintage Baker Furniture, pre-Knapp & Tubbs. They have a classic well built aesthetic and are affordable. Sometimes you can find pieces at thrift stores that do not realize their worth - just look for the stamp. My bet is that their value and desirablility will increase in the next few years.
